Sometimes my grandma makes homemade crêpes. They are delicous. And when you add a bit of jam they are even more yummy!
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 2 tbsp. vegtable oil or melted butter
- 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
Preparation
Combine the eggs, milk, flour, oil and salt in a large bowl. Mix with a hand mixer on low speed until it’s thoroughly combined. Cover the batter and chill at least 1 hour.
If you don’t have a crêpe maker, heat a 10-inch nonstick skillet over medium heat for 2 minute. Spray the bottom and sides with nonstick spray. Pour 1/4 cup of the batter into the side of the skillet and twirl it to coat the bottom.
Cook the crêpe until the edges begin to brown (about 1 minute). Loosen the crêpe around the ege with a spatula. Gently pick it up with your fingers and flip it. Cook for 20 seconds. Transfer it to a wire rack to cool. Make sure you coat the pan with nonstick pan before cooking each crêpe.
