Homemade Pepperidge Farm Milano Cookies

Homemade Milano cookies

My mom loves the Pepperidge Farm cookies, and her birthday was coming up so I thought of these cookies and was like “Why not make them!?” They taste the same but have a chewier texture.

(This recipe make 13 cookies)

Ingredients

  • 21/4 cups all -purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 sticks of softened butter
  • 2/4 cups of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/8 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup of melted semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius)
  • In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until creamy. Then, add eggs one at a time.
  • Add mixture to a pipping bag. Make small lines of batter about the same size and about an inch and a half apart onto a prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 9 to 10 minuets. When done let the cookies cool then spread a thin layer of melted chocolate on a cookie and add another cookie on top of the cookie. repeat until done.
