My mom loves the Pepperidge Farm cookies, and her birthday was coming up so I thought of these cookies and was like “Why not make them!?” They taste the same but have a chewier texture.
(This recipe make 13 cookies)
Ingredients
- 21/4 cups all -purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 sticks of softened butter
- 2/4 cups of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/8 cups granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup of melted semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius)
- In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until creamy. Then, add eggs one at a time.
- Add mixture to a pipping bag. Make small lines of batter about the same size and about an inch and a half apart onto a prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 9 to 10 minuets. When done let the cookies cool then spread a thin layer of melted chocolate on a cookie and add another cookie on top of the cookie. repeat until done.
